The Distribution Pattern of Covid-19 in Indonesia: Study Using Spatial Autocorelation

COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by the coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2. The spread of several types ofdiseases, including COVID-19, influenced location or spatial factor. purpose this research wasto examine relationship among in Indonesia. Secondary data usedfrom Indonesian Ministry Health website. analyzed was cumulative number positivecases Indonesia until October 19th, 2020. Spatial Autocorrelation, Moran’s Index, andLocal indicators association (LISA) were used to these relationships. Geoda softwarewas performing statistical analysis. COVID-19cases spatially related, with a Index value 0.251. Four provinces have significantLISA scores, namely South Sumatra, Banten, West Java, and Sulawesi. Sumatera relativelysafe since it located area relatively low cases. Java perilouse highCOVID-19 cases surrounded high Banten needs be vigilant ofthe cases’ possibility can main influence. Sulawesihas very cases, which new source infection for surroundingareas. government act on regulation order decrease distributionby limiting people’s commute between provinces.
